Her name is Raquel although artistically we identify her as Rakky Ripper and she was born in Granada in 1995. Since she was little she has always sung and written songs. He began to focus on music in a self-taught way at the age of 15, learning to use music editing programs, producing electronic and experimental music, recording his own covers and gradually investing from his savings to create his own home-studio. He began to generate his first works 5 years ago around R&B, urban music, pop and reggaeton. In 2019 she released her debut album independently, which established her as one of the pioneers of Spanish hyperpop.
Supported by national and international artists from the most mainstream scene such as Charli XCX or Lola Índigo, she has appeared in VOGUE as one of the promises of 2021 and has done a session for the BBC on the program 'Diplo & Friends', a space in the that for years the DJ and producer Diplo has been discovering all the promises of the Spanish-speaking scene such as Arca, Bad Gyal or Rosalía. He is, without a doubt, a name to take into account as one of the fundamental pillars of the emerging hyperpop scene in this country.
